Sonia Rosatelli, PT, BScPT
Sonia’s journey in healthcare began at Queen’s University, where she was admitted into their competitive Physiotherapy program, graduating as a multi-scholarship recipient in 2000. Over the following two decades, she has refined her clinical approach across diverse healthcare settings.
Dedicated to clinical excellence, Sonia has completed an extensive range of advanced certifications. She is a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture practitioner through McMaster University, where she currently serves as an instructor and sits on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Contemporary Acupuncture Association. Her focus on athletic recovery is supported by advanced training in Sports Performance.
Sonia’s career includes professional development alongside recognized clinicians such as Dr. Elorriaga-Claraco, Dr. Mike Prebeg, and Dr. Mark Scappaticci. She also serves as a FIT Institute Instructor for Synergy Taping and Fascial Abrasion.
Her clinical approach integrates Level 2 Shift Concussion Management and Level 2 ELDOA practitioner techniques to address complex patient needs. Sonia utilizes a blend of manual therapy, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, and cupping to support tissue recovery, complemented by taping and custom orthotics for structural alignment. Furthermore, she maintains a significant focus in Aquatic Therapy, holding advanced certifications in aquatic rehabilitation. By leveraging the unique properties of water alongside her manual skills, Sonia provides a versatile environment for recovery and performance. This technical foundation ensures every patient is supported in achieving their functional goals.
